My name is Katharina Elberti and I am currently a senior at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) working towards my B.A. in Public Relations with a minor in Professional and Technical Writing. Originally from Annapolis, Maryland (Go Navy!), I came to Virginia Tech because of my love of collegiate sports and my intent to pursue a career in athletic communications. Although I am a first generation Hokie, maroon and orange runs through my veins and I strive to spread Hokie Pride wherever I go.
With numerous internships, jobs, and leadership positions, it is safe to say I do not shy away from getting involved. In light of the fact that Virginia Tech does not have any type of sports degree track, I have had the opportunity to shape my extracurricular activities towards my desire to one day enter the field of sports management. In addition to completing a regular course study each semester, I have sought out projects and endeavors to build on that knowledge and make myself an exceptional candidate.
